So, we’ve told you about itunes posting celebrity playlists before and we stumbled upon another one we liked.
Here is Hillary Scotts’ (of Lady Antebellum) playlist and she shares with us why she picked each song:
“Falling Slowly” - Glen Hensard & Marketa Irglova: The film is spectacular and this song has a beautiful lyric and melody. It’s like a lullaby, but yet haunts you at the same time. I strongly recommend seeing this film AND buying the soundtrack!
“Suffocate” - J. Holiday: I love his voice, and what woman doesn’t want to hear a man say that he suffocates when he’s not with you? Please…ha!
“Swing (feat. Soulja Boy Tell ‘em)” - Savage & Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em: I somehow just ran across this song and I can’t get it out of my head. It’s so catchy and a song you wanna blast in the car with the windows down on a road trip, or dance to in a club…I LOVE IT! ‘Let me see your hips SWING!
“Lesson Learned (feat. John Mayer)” - Alicia Keys: This is such a relatable subject matter that I really relate to. It’s one of those songs that explains how you feel when you don’t have the words…and John Mayer’s voice in the background adds so much.
“I’m About to Come Alive” - David Nail: He is an up-and-coming country artist and his voice will make any girl melt! I’m a huge fan of his.
“I Saw God Today” - George Straight: He is a living legend. This song is so beautiful, and one of my favortie country songs right now.
“Leavin’” - Jesse McCartney: This is the song of the summer! He has mastered the art of infectious melody and a great beat.
“Stop and Stare” - OneRepublic: Ryan Teter’s voice is great. I can’t get tired of this song. Their whole aolbum is amazing.
“If You’re Gonna Leave” - Emerson Hart: GO buy his record Cigarettes and Gasoline right now! It’s unbelievable.
“Sounds So Good” - Ashton Shepherd: This is the emotiome of a great country song. This girl is the real deal and sings her butt off.
