Darius Rucker

Darius Rucker practically wrote a novel to his fans on his myspace page - and he’s listening Marvin Gaye, pretty awesome! He just finish touring with Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley. I wonder how Darius got pranked on the tour? Paisley is know for pranking his opening acts, just ask Jewel, Chuck Wicks or Taylor Swift

‘What’s Goin On’

Hey ya’ll its been awhile and I’m gonna try and be better about this but “Welcome to ‘what’s goin on’…..(Marvin gaye playin in the background)”.

I just finished a fun, funny, inspiring, enjoyable, and at times crazy tour with Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley.  I remember many shows that were festivals or other peoples or something and our crew talking about how much they where treated like crap.   I’m not saying it happened always but there have been bad experiences.  Brad rolled out with several trucks and  busses and a whole lot of people and I can without a doubt.say every single person on that tour was nice and fun and genuinely wanted to do whatever they could to make our show and our time on the tour the best it could be.   And me and my crew want to say thank you very much to everyone of u.   Brad Paisley is the ultimate professional musician and performer (his show is nothing short of incredible) and he is a damn cool friend too.  I can never and will always try, to thank him enough for all he has done and will do for me.  I learned a lot from watching him and  thank him for putting me in front of all those people.  And yeah he got me good.   Dierks Bentley flat out ROCKS  and he is going to be a superstar.  he brought it every night and I loved watching his show.  He’s also another one that’s a pretty cool friend.  Brad got me with a really good practical joke but we where ready for them and had our own.  Check out my sight or Brad’s for details…..very funny.

To everyone who came to see me this year so far thanks and I hope it was fun for u cause it sure has been fun for me.

I got a bunch of acoustic dates and a few band shows coming out so I hope to get to see ya’ll this year.  We are talking about this summer and there will be an announcement sometime when we know for sure.

Alright the Superbowl:  one of the greatest SBs I have ever seen.   gotta give it up to Ben Rothlisberger and the Steelers.   Ben is great and they did what it took to win.  My hat, my shoes, and my coat come off to the Arizona Cardinals.   What a run and what a performance.  Those guys won it, it’s just that the Steelers won it back.  not to be negative but;  u have to call the 15 yarder on Santonio Holmes with the ball celebration after the play.  That call is automatic this year and 35 seconds with 2 timeouts from the 40 is much different than from the 22.  Besides a few bad calls, one of the top 5 ever.

For those of u guys who are around my age or older,  ya’ll remember when the SB was always a blowout?  We use to complain so much about how lopsided it was.   During the 70’s and early 80’s from SB 3 (I’m out on the roman numbers thing), to SB 15 the AFC won  11 out of 13 winning by margins like 2024-7, 32-14, and 23-7.  then during the 80’s and 90’s the NFC won 15 out of 16 with whopping scores like 52-17, 49-26, 46-10 and 55-10.   from the Titan’s-Ram’s SB to last years “battle for perfection” (I snicker),  it seems that we are getting great games every year.

Once again and always a big shout out to country radio and everyone in it.  thanks  for everything ya’ll.

well I will try to get back to u guys soon ok.  peace………darius
