The reality of headlining tour has finally hit Taylor. She vented on her blog about her excitement.

Hey!!

I know that I use the word “excited” in my blogs more than any other word in the English language, but I have to say… I’m really excited right now. It’s really hitting me that I get to go on my first headlining tour. With a big stage. And I’m not opening up for people anymore. And I get to pick what we eat in catering! (I recommended an all cupcake menu, but apparently that doesn’t meet everyone’s dietary needs for survival. The idea was vetoed. You can’t win them all I guess). I get to pick out how the backstage area is decorated. And I love decorations. And backstage areas. There are so many different decisions to be made regarding video content and lighting and changes. So basically….I’m excited.

There are a bunch of new people you’re going to see with us this year on that stage. First of all, we have six new dancers who can point their toes and twirl and stuff with the best of them. On the band side, we’ve added another backup singer and her name is Liz. And she’s precious and amazing. You might have seen her perform with us on Leno. That was her first TV gig with us. Another change I wanted to give you guys the heads up on: Unfortunately, you won’t see Ben playing banjo with us anymore. :( We’re gonna miss him so much, but he’s got dreams and wanted to pursue them. We’re all so close to him, we’ll never stop seeing him around. All the best. :) But there’s good news… We’ve got the insanely talented Mike Meadows playing banjo/mandolin/guitar/keys/cello now (told you he was ridiculous. Count that list of instruments. For those of you who would rather not do unnecessary math on a weekend, that’s five instruments.) Mike is hilarious and fits right in with us. He and Liz are part of the family now and I can’t wait for you to see what they can do. They’ve joined “The Agency” (my band has referred to themselves as The Agency since they got to dress up in suits and sunglasses and ransack a house in the Picture to Burn video. The scene of them walking across the yard in slow motion only encouraged this.) So now it’s Grant, Paul, Amos, Al, Caitlin, Liz, and Mike. I love it.

Miley Cyrus was on Good Morning America this morning promoting her movie that is being released this Friday. Apparently, her phone alarm went off right before the live segment and Mileys response…

“it’s early in LA, sometimes I get up to read my bible.”

Check out the full interview below…

Maybe it was in honor of their album being released today, but Chuck and Julianne danced to Rascal Flatts ‘Feels Like Today’ and we think they did an amazing job! Considering they were both at the ACM Awards last night and busy in Vegas all week, WOW!

Chuck is really turning into a great dancer.

Who was your favorite from last night?

Jewel got all fancy in LA, hitting up hotspot Chateau Marmont with awesome photographer Matthew Rolston.

Friday night, 7pm- Just sitting at the trendy Chateau Marmont waiting for a friend, Matthew Rolston, for dinner. He shot my first Rolling Stone cover, my Spirit CD cover, and he shot my videos for “Foolish Games” and “Jupiter” (one of my favorite never seen videos!) and “Again and Again.” Gosh- he’s the only director/photographer I have gone back to multiple times I think, because he makes me feel beautiful! He also shot the hair color commercial I did with Beyonce, if any of you remember that. He always makes me feel like I have perfect teeth and a tiny nose! Haha! And I also like him because he is kind and has a calm and quiet temperament. Some photographers are hysterical and high strung divas, and that makes the day seem a lot longer and more painful than it is. I have never really enjoyed photo or video shoots. I have always been kind of self-conscious having all that focus on me all day long. It’s a bizarre process that really took me years to get used to. He and his partner Ted just got here, so I’m signing off. To read about the rest of my weekend, click here!

We all know that Kellie Pickler will be returning to Idol this week. Well, apparently she is having a little bit of a shoe problem.
I sure hope Christian Louboutin gets her message.
Ok. Most of you know about my little obsession with shoes….(hence)”Red High Heels”….well I am in love with Christian Louboutin shoes, the ones with the signature red bottoms. He is my FAVORITE shoe designer…..I cannot even begin to tell you how many of his shoes I have purchased. Some people collect dolls, baseballs, bottle caps, hats, autographs, ect….(you get the pic)…well, I collect shoes.

I know this really isn’t that big of a deal, but if any of you love shoes half as much as I do then you will understand my frustration….well, here goes….

while I was in NY this past week I went into the Christian Louboutin store and bought the most incredible pair of shoes you’ve ever seen. I mean when I saw these babies displayed in the store my jaw hit the floor….I swear there was a halo glowing down from heaven on top of them…ha ha…ok maybe I’m getting carried away, but they are beautiful. When I tried them on I felt like Cinderella because they sparkled like her glass slippers (they are covered in swarovski crystals). Ok, here is where all my dreams go down the tube….I planned on debuting these babies on American Idol THIS Wednesday. Problem is, they DON’T MATCH MY DRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve already altered and committed to the designer to wearing this dress. So, I’ve got to change the shoes…boo.
Mr. Louboutin, please be my “fairy godfather” and grant me this ONE WISH….Please send me a pair of fabulous silver wedges.

XOXO Pickler aka “Shoeless Cinderella”

PS: I’m a 6 1/2
