Grits n’ Whiskey » Alan Jackson

The Boot has a great article on Jimmy Wayne almost missing out on opening for Alan Jackson. Jimmy was asking to open for Alan on April 16, 17 and 18, but he had a conflict. While get could perform on the 16 and 17, the 18 was his annual benefit concert he has every year in his hometown.

Initially, he had to commit to all three shows otherwise it was a no go. Jimmy wrote Alan a letter explaining why his benefit concert was so important to him. In the end, Jimmy got the best of both worlds. He’ll be opening for Alan and still having his benefit concert.

Jimmy Wayne is always such a do-gooder. Way to give back to your community.

You should definitely check out the whole article HERE.
