The Cinderella Story…

Ok. Most of you know about my little obsession with shoes….(hence)”Red High Heels”….well I am in love with Christian Louboutin shoes, the ones with the signature red bottoms. He is my FAVORITE shoe designer…..I cannot even begin to tell you how many of his shoes I have purchased. Some people collect dolls, baseballs, bottle caps, hats, autographs, ect….(you get the pic)…well, I collect shoes.

I know this really isn’t that big of a deal, but if any of you love shoes half as much as I do then you will understand my frustration….well, here goes….

while I was in NY this past week I went into the Christian Louboutin store and bought the most incredible pair of shoes you’ve ever seen. I mean when I saw these babies displayed in the store my jaw hit the floor….I swear there was a halo glowing down from heaven on top of them…ha ha…ok maybe I’m getting carried away, but they are beautiful. When I tried them on I felt like Cinderella because they sparkled like her glass slippers (they are covered in swarovski crystals). Ok, here is where all my dreams go down the tube….I planned on debuting these babies on American Idol THIS Wednesday. Problem is, they DON’T MATCH MY DRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve already altered and committed to the designer to wearing this dress. So, I’ve got to change the shoes…boo.
Mr. Louboutin, please be my “fairy godfather” and grant me this ONE WISH….Please send me a pair of fabulous silver wedges.

Tom, from Gloriana filled us in on his day with Taylor and his excitement for their upcoming summer tour where they will be opening for Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler.

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all doing well! I don’t know about you guys, but I am SO ready for it to be summer! I’m sick of being cold and pasty! I need some sunshine in my life!

Anyway, as I’ve said many times in the past, this year keeps getting more and more insane for us. But there are specific moments, like today, when it all seems a little extra “real.” What did I do today you ask? I just spent my evening getting a tour of Taylor Swift’s stage for her fearless tour and let me tell you, it seriously should be entered into the running for 8th wonder of the world! I can’t tell you any specifics, cause I would probably end up on the back of a milk carton, but let me just say that it is one of the most ridiculously amazing stage sets I have ever seen! All of you that are coming to the shows this summer will have your mind blown–I give you my personal guarantee. But looking upon the set was actually not even the coolest part of today— guess who was my “tour guide?” TAYLOR HERSELF! I mean, what an amazing girl. She already done SO much for us in the way of promoting us to her fans and bringing us on her tour–but she’s so freakin’ cool that she took time out of her day to show us the set so we would feel more comfortable about the whole thing! To be that famous AND that down to earth–it’s rare to say the least. So let me just take a moment to thank Ms. Swift, who by the way is even more stunningly beautiful in person, for being not only such a great artist, but such a great human being as well! I’m now even more excited for this tour than I was yesterday- which, mind you, was already approaching dangerous levels of excitement as far as what the human mind can endure. Hopefully my head won’t explode before April 23rd! Till next time– I love you all

Jessica Simpson, Julianne Hough, Kellie Pickler and Leann Rimes taped a pretty bad-ass promo for the upcoming ACM awards. The awards with be taking place the same week as the NCAA Final Four and the producers decided to do a lil NCAA themed ACM shoot. Check it out. It’s pretty awesome.

This video totally warms our heart! We have already mentioned that we really love Gloriana; we were thrilled when we saw Taylor Swifts new video post about her trip to Australia and the soundtrack is Gloriana’s current single ‘Wild At Heart’. Gloriana will be opening for Taylor on her Fearless tour this summer along side bff Kellie Pickler.

Those stars burn like diamonds.

So radio personalities from around the country invaded Nashville the past few days and we finally managed to snag some pictures from the ‘New Faces’ show.

Kellie Pickler, Zac Brown Band, and Lady Antebellum performed along with a slew of others…. Mr. Belding?!?!

One very devoted Kellie Pickler fan had Kellie sign her arm and she then went to have the autograph tattooed. Tattoo artist Chastity, was in Mobile, Alambama and had the honor of permanently autographing the girl who had Kellie sign her arm in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Kellie Pickler was a busy girl this weekend. She performed at the Strawberry Festival on Friday night and in Biloxi, Mississippi on Saturday.

Kellie Pickler took to her blog to update us about what’s going on in her life these days. She just finished shooting a video for her song ‘Best Days of Your Life’ and her best friend (Summer) was flown in to be in the video as well.

Kellie also filled us in on her tattoos. She has two star tattoos and explains that each star represents one of the two USO tours shes been on. We told you about Bucky Covington’s USO tour and it seems like going on a tour is really impacting artists in a great way. Keep up the good work.

Wow…it’s been a LONG day! I’m very happy to say that we just finished shooting the new music video for “Best Days of Your Life” and I think it is going to be AmAzing!! I’m so excited that my best friend from home (Summer) got to fly in and be in the video. This is very different than any other music video I’ve ever done before. I don’t want to give away all the surprises cause I want there to be something to look forward to when it debuts. I can’t wait to see the finished project….it should be edited in the next few weeks and ready for the world to see.

Speaking of Taylor….I am really looking forward to us touring together. We kick the first “Fearless” show off in April (I’ve posted dates on my myspace and my website: kelliepickler.com) You can also see dates on Taylor’s myspace and her website as well.) She is like a lil sister to me, so I know we are going to have a lot of fun. This is going to be the best summer ever…I hope to see you all at a show!!!
I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my recent “star tattoos” so I figured I would go ahead and explain why and what they stand for. Long story short….many of you know that I am involved with the USO and have been on two USO tours overseas to entertain the troops….so I got a star to represent each visit.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I’m on the bus right now…headed down to Florida for a show!! I love it there…I hope it’s sunny!!

Julianne and Kellie both took the stage in Washington DC on Tuesday for the fourth annual Challenge Champions Gala. Dale Earnhardt Jr, was also at the Gala which was hosted by the National Guard Youth Foundation.

Giving back is the best way to go!
