We stumbled upon this post on CMT’s blog about the song “What Hurts The Most”. Apparently, Rascal Flatts were not the first to record this song.

We stand corrected. Cascada aka Chavcada was not the first person to record ‘What Hurts The Most’. Mark Willis recorded it first, followed by Rascal Flatts, then Jo O’Mera and only after that did Cascada (Chavcada) record. Thank you for correcting me!

We like the Rascal Flatts version the best… obviously.

The Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center will be this Wednesday at 8pm on NBC and it will be full of country stars! Faith Hill and Rascal Flatts will be taking the stage to perform along side, Tony Bennett, the Jonas Brothers, David Cook and more! Al Roker will be hosting the extravaganza, so be sure to check to it out!

Our favorite do-gooders in country music are at it again. Rascal Flatts are putting their signed belt buckles and shirt on ebay in an effort to raise money for Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. They were honored this year with the Shining Star Award by the Make-A-Wish Foundation for all their charity and leadership work in the country music community. It’s so great to see these stars putting their fame to good use. Check out the belt buckles below and bid for a great cause.

Also, we can’t forget to congratulate the boys on their CMA. Their 5th in Vocal Group of the Year category. We wish they had been up for entertainer of the year too. Hopefully, they’ll be one of the performers next year!

Our favorites, Rascal Flatts, have finally come out with a greatest hits album. Considering they have seven #1 singles and countless top ten hits, it’s about time! We are very pleased with the songs they have included, although we have a couple of favorites like ‘Then I Did’, that didn’t make the cut, we can’t wait to buy it. This album comes with a special treat; 3 bonus Christmas tracks.
